I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were not what I booked, but they surprised me with great views of the Skytower from both my lounge and bedroom. The city and night lights were a delight to see. The room also had a washing machine and dryer, which was very convenient. However, I was a bit disappointed with the unexpected $300 bond requirement for not using a Visa debit card, even though I've used one at other hotels across New Zealand.

The hotel offers stunning views of the Skytower in peak summer, with well-equipped rooms that were clean and tidy, conveniently located near the city center. Although the check-in experience wasn't ideal, the service staff ultimately proved helpful. However, the surrounding homeless area could be a downside for some visitors.
